The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) offers certifications for exercise physiologists: the Certified Exercise Physiologist (EP-C) and Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) certification for applicants with a bachelor's degree, as well as the Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP) master's degree or

CEP and RCEP candidates must have at least 400 and 600 hours of supervised clinical experience, respectively. An accepted and valid exercise in the United States is designed to identify the professional skills necessary for the practice of physiology. These standards are written to inform the public about the practice of exercise physiology in the healthcare, exercise and sport sectors.
Half of the workers in the profession earn more than that amount, and half earn less. Average salary data is from the BLS Survey of Occupational and Wage Statistics. In May 2021, the median annual wage for all workers was $45,760.
Median Pay
Exercise physiologists typically need at least a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology, exercise science, kinesiology, or another health and related field. Masters courses are also available. Degree programs in exercise physiology, exercise science, and kinesiology are accredited by the Association for Accreditation of Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
These programs typically include natural sciences and health-related courses such as biology, anatomy, statistics, kinesiology, and clinical practice such as nutrition. Exercise medicine is the scientific prescription of regular exercise, treatment of heart disease and other chronic diseases, and/or planned, structured, and repetitive disabilities to improve the client's or patient's functional integrity of the cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal, sensorimotor, and cognitive systems.
The EPC is responsible for identifying scientific and medical findings related to specific diseases and/or dysfunctions, using appropriate language to share the same with the client/subject (ie, primary and secondary risk factors) and monitor the human cardiovascular system.

Median Pay
Applicants will be charged $75.00 (US Dollars) for cancellation. Candidates who cancel the exam with less than one business day notice or do not attend the exam will forfeit the exam fee. Standard 10: Disciplinary Hearings, Appeals, and Sanctions If the applicant or certifying agency disputes the allegations and requests a hearing, the Chair of the Professional Practices and Disciplinary Committee will hold a hearing for the Committee.
The applicant's or certificate's opening statements, any instructions, and closing notes must be included. The trial and related issues are decided by the majority. The applicant or approver may appeal the Sanctions Committee's decision. The applicant or certification body must submit a written application within 30 days of receiving the committee's decision.
